Introduction

Welcome to the website of the Photovoltaic Monitoring Centre (PVMC), Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia (UiTM). This website presents information on the performance of selected Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) systems under the Malaysian BIPV project.

As part of the dissemination of information and awareness strategy, the PVMC has developed a web portal dedicated to reporting the performance of the MBIPV system installations. This portal has been developed indigenously and is used as a database for storing all detailed and processed data and information for all monitored sites; for both Global and Analytical categories.  All processed data and site information is regularly uploaded every month (every 15th).

  • Types of Monitoring
    Two types of monitoring:
    1. Global Monitoring
  • Global Monitoring - is the monitoring of PV systems without the use of remote/automated monitoring devices or facilities.
  • 2.  Analytical Monitoring
  • Analytical monitoring – is the monitoring of PV systems using a remote/automated monitoring devices or facilities.
  • Site Monitoring
    To view the site please;
  • 1. Move cursor over the spot on the map of  Malaysia.       2. Select site from the list and click .
  • Blue dot represents our EMS station, located at UiTM Shah Alam.
  • Green dot represents states which have sites being monitored all around Malaysia.
  • Red dot represents states which yet to be monitered later.
